Zahir-ud-din Muhammad  (Babur)                          Z ahir-ud-din Muhammad, popularty known as Babur.(the lion), was born in 14 February 1483 Andijan, Uzbekistan. He was the son of Umar Sherkh (a descendentut of Timur) who ruled over the kingdom of Farghana . After the death of his father, Babur became the king at the age of eleven, He had to struggle hard to maintain control over his possessions. Though he soon lost Farghana to his enemies, he ultimately succeeded in occupying Kabul. After three failed attempts to conquer Samarkand, he decided to try his luck in India. He was born to rule, and he would rule, even if it meant conquering hot, dusty India.                      INVASION OF GREAT EMPIRE 1526 T he political condition of india was chaotic in 1526, when babur invaded the country. There was anarchy and confusion in most part of the country. The dehli sultanate was tottering towards its fall. Sultan Ibrahim lodi was a weak and an unexperienced ruler. He failed to suppress the afghan nobles. Daulat khan lodi, the governor of Punjab, had declared his independence. Alam khan lodi, an uncle of Ibrahim, also aspired to become the sultan of delhi. Alam khan and daulat khan collected against Ibrahim and invited babur to invade india. The rajput chiefs were also putted against Ibrahim lodi.
